Product Name Seven Bank Account
Eligible Persons As a general rule, individual customers residing in Japan (residents as defined in the "Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act")
*This account must be opened only under the first and last names of an applicant.
(The Seven Bank Account may not be used as an account for business.)
*One customer may only own one account.
Product/Service Description Consisting of the following products/services:
  Basic Products/Services Ordinary Deposit
Time Deposit
Remote Banking Service
Optional Products/Services Loan Service (card loan)
International Money Transfer Service
Point Service
Statement of Account Mailing Service (charged)
Cash card The Bank will issue a cash card (main card) for an account holder.
*Upon request, the Bank will also issue an agent cash card (charged).
Statement of Account The Bank will issue a Statement of Account in substitute for a passbook.
A Statement of Account will be prepared as of the last day of each month and displayed via the internet around the 10th day of the immediately following month.
*For each customer who applied for the "Statement of Account Mailing Service," the Bank will mail such statement to the notified address via domestic ordinary postal mail (will be treated as confidential with no forwarding required) around the 15th day of each month.
 In this case, 105 Yen (including consumption tax, etc.) will be withdrawn from the customer's account for the Statement of Account Mailing Charge on the 2nd day of each month. If the Statement of Account Mailing Charge cannot be withdrawn, a Statement of Account that is scheduled to be delivered that month will not be mailed.
*If a Statement of Account is to be reissued or an extra Statement of Account is to be issued via postal mail, 210 Yen (including consumption tax, etc.) for a statement of any one month will be withdrawn from the customer's account for the Statement of Account Issue Charge.
Remote Banking Service Means the following 3 services available to customers who hold a Seven Bank Account:
  Service Description Internet Banking A customer may conduct transactions of "Inquiries," "Transfers," "Time Deposit Transactions," "Loan Service Transactions," "Requests for International Money Transfer Transactions," "Point Service" and "Others" from a PC terminal or the like.
*This service may not be available for certain models or software.
Mobile Banking A customer may conduct transactions of "Inquiries," "Transfers," "Time Deposit Transactions," "Loan Service Transactions," “Requests for International Money Transfer Transactions," "Point Service" and "Others" from a mobile phone terminal.
*This service may not be available for certain models.
Telephone Banking A customer may conduct, via automated voice response or an operator, transactions of "Inquiries," "Time Deposit Creations," "Loan Service Transactions" and "Others" from a telephone.
*This service may not be available for certain models.
Service Menu Inquiries A customer may make, via the Internet Banking, balance inquiries, deposit/withdrawal statement inquiries, time deposit statement inquiries, international money transfer transaction statement inquiries, important notice list inquiries and monthly Statement of Account inquiries.
A customer may make, via the Mobile Banking, balance inquiries, deposit/withdrawal statement inquiries, time deposit statement inquiries, international money transfer transaction statement inquiries and important notice list inquiries.
A customer may make, via the Telephone Banking, balance inquiries, deposit/withdrawal statement inquiries and important notice list inquiries.
Transfers A customer may transfer funds via the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking.
*A customer may transfer funds within a fund transfer limit registered by the customer within the limit of 10 million Yen per transfer and the daily total transfer limit of 10 million Yen per day.
*Requests for fund transfers are accepted 24 hours a day.
Time Deposit Transactions A customer may create a time deposit, change the handling of a time deposit upon maturity, or terminate a time deposit, via the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking, and may create a time deposit via the Telephone Banking.
Loan Service Transactions A customer may apply for the Loan Service, make examination result inquiries (contract), borrowing/repayment/transaction statement inquiries and contract detail inquires via the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking.
A customer may make borrowing/repayment/transaction statement inquiries and contract detail inquires via the Telephone Banking.
International Money Transfer Transactions A customer may conduct requests for international money transfer transaction and transaction statement inquiries via the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking.
Others A customer may take procedures for the Point Service via the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking.
A customer may change his/her address, telephone number, PIN, Logon Password, and ATM withdrawal limit via the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/Telephone Banking.
Service Charges Remote Banking is free of charge.
*However, customers are required to pay the Transfer Charge as well as telephone charges, internet connection charges and other costs to be borne in using the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking.
Service Hours As a general rule, service hours are 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
*However, service hours of the Telephone Banking via an operator will be from 8:00 to 21:00.
Others
  • A customer who has registered his/her email address via the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking may use the Notification Email Service.
  • A customer needs to register his/her Customer ID, Logon Password, Confirmation Number and PIN for using the Remote Banking.
  • "Customer ID" and "Confirmation Number" are printed on the back of a cash card.
  • Logon Password, Confirmation Number and PIN will be invalidated if erroneously input for more than the number of times prescribed by the Bank as a security measure.
  • The Bank's Internet Banking is protected by sophisticated security based on SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypted communication of 128 bits or higher.
  • The Remote Banking Service may be used in the Bank's prescribed operating environment (browser, mobile phone, telephone).
  • A customer may request the Bank to suspend his/her use of the Internet Banking/Mobile Banking.
    *Customers are required to take prescribed procedures for registering the suspension of use.
  • If a Seven Bank Account is terminated, the Remote Banking Service will also be terminated.
  • All or any part of the Remote Banking Service may be unavailable from overseas.
  • The Remote Banking Service may be unavailable due to system maintenance, etc.
Service Charges Various charges are as follows (including consumption tax, etc.):
  Seven Bank ATM Service Fee [Deposit] Free of charge
[Withdrawal] Daytime (7:00 to 19:00): Free of charge
Other than daytime (19:00 to 7:00 of following morning):105 Yen
Transfer Charge [Transfer to Seven Bank] 52 Yen
[Transfer to other banks] 210 Yen
*A fund transfer via an ATM may be subject to a separate ATM service charge depending on the hour.
Cash Card Issue Charge [Reissue of Card for Account-holder] 1,050 Yen
[Issue/reissue of Agent Card] 1,050 Yen
Statement of Account Mailing Charge [Mail] 105 Yen per month
[Reissue/extra issue] 210 Yen for a statement of any one month
Balance Certificate Issue Charge [Periodical issue] 315 Yen per copy
[Non-periodical issue] 525 Yen per copy
Cancellation of Account If a cash card that was mailed after an account is opened does not arrive due to "Address Unknown" or other reasons, or if 2 years have passed without any deposit of money since an account is opened, the Bank may cancel the account.
Other Helpful Information
  • A passbook will not be issued.
  • The Seven Bank Account may not be used as a receiving account of pension or the like.
  • The Seven Bank Account may not be used for account transfers of utility charges.
  • The issue of various certificates for certifying transactions and the like may be subject to prescribed Bank charges.
  • The International Money Transfer Service is subject to prescribed Bank charges. Please refer to Product Overview (International Money Transfer Service) for details.
  • The number of bills that may be deposited or withdrawn with a Seven Bank ATM is up to 50 bills per transaction. For large amounts of transactions, fund transfer to other banks is safe and convenient.
  • Seven Bank ATMs may be unavailable due to maintenance work or other reasons.
  • If a Seven Bank ATM is not available due to a malfunction or if a customer wishes to conduct a transaction which exceeds the ATM withdrawal limit per day, please contact the Telephone Center.

Customers may make cash deposits and withdrawals and conduct fund transfers from the Seven Bank Account at the head office service counter only during its business hours..

Business days of service counters of the head office: days excluding Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and December 31 and January 1 to 3.

Business hours of the head office service counter: 9:00 to 15:00
