Communication with the Community
Seven Bank contributes to the communities it serves as a good corporate citizen. We therefore maintain a dialogue with stakeholders while sponsoring the "Forest Warrior Bonolon" illustrated children's book and conducting community volunteer and fund-raising programs.
Sponsorship for "Forest Warrior Bonolon"
"Forest Warrior Bonolon" is an illustrated book that parents read to their children, thus promoting family communication. Approximately one million copies are published in even-numbered months. Seven Bank agrees with the message of the books, and has sponsored Bonolon since June 2005. We distribute these illustrated books at our manned outlets, and also contribute \100 for every customer-requested Bonolon cash card customers to the creation of Bonolon special editions that are presented to child-related institutions such as children's centers and orphanages.
Participation in Community Volunteer Efforts
Seven Bank became a member of the Chiyoda Volunteer Center in September 2010. The center conducts social contribution activities through which companies headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo and their employees, as corporate and individual citizens of Chiyoda-ku, cooperate with the local community.
Fund-Raising to Support People and Areas Affected by Disasters and the Visually Impaired
Seven Bank conducts fund-raising campaigns to support people affected by disasters such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. We have created a special page on our website that is linked to our Internet banking website through which Seven Bank account holders can donate money with no transfer fee.
In addition, we are conducting a campaign to raise and broaden awareness of the voice guidance services available at Seven Bank ATMs in conjunction with fund-raising efforts to support the visually impaired.
