How to Send money

When using "Philippine Money Transfer Service" (Mobile Remit sa Pinas)"

To remit using this service, the following 3 procedures are required.

  • *Note: This service is not available from Seven Bank ATM or Online banking.

Open a Seven Bank account and register for the International Money Transfer Service

If you have previously registered with the Seven Bank International Money Transfer Service (WESTERN UNION), you do not need to register again.
With the exception of sending money to certain bank accounts, receiver information can also be used across services.

STEP 1 Apply

Download the International Money Transfer App and apply to open a Seven Bank account and register for the International Money Transfer Service.

If you have already previously registered with the Seven Bank International Money Transfer Service (WESTERN UNION), you do not need to register again. Once you have downloaded the International Money Transfer App and set up your online banking (Direct Banking Service), you can start using the "Philippine Money Transfer Service (Mobile Remit sa Pinas)"

STEP 2 Deposit money into your Seven Bank account

Once you receive your cash card, deposit money and fee into your Seven Bank account.
Depositing money at a Seven Bank ATM is free of charge.

  • *Note: It takes about two to three weeks from when you apply for your cash card to arrive.
    If you receive an attempted delivery notice in the mail, please ask the post office to redeliver the card or pick it up at the post office.

STEP 3 Remit using the International Money Transfer App

Select the BDO Unibank tab on the International Money Transfer App and remit money from the "SEND MONEY" menu.

(Caution symbol) The BDO Unibank menu is only displayed when the receiver country and currency specified in the International Money Transfer App is the Philippines and Philippine Peso respectively.
You can check the exchange rate for Philippine money transfer service(Mobile Remit sa Pinas) in the International Money Transfer App (on the BDO Unibank menu).

Note: The“Philippine Money Transfer Service with BDO Unibank” is not available from Seven Bank ATM or Online banking.

[Precautions for Money Transfer]
Specify the receiving location when you remit. The maximum amount that can be received differs depending on the receiving location.
See table below.
Also note that money cannot be picked up at a payment center other than the one specified.

The maximum amount that can be received is PHP500,000, regardless of the receiver's bank.

Ways to transfer money using the International Money Transfer App is HERE

After the money transfer request is completed, please inform the receiver of the reference number displayed on the app screen and the details of the money transfer such as the specified receiving location. You can also check the pick-up status on the "SEND MONEY" menu on the International Money Transfer App.

  • *The reference number and other transaction details are the information necessary for the receiver to receive the amount transferred. The customer is therefore required to manage such information carefully. Please do not disclose any of the transaction details to any person other than the receiver. The Bank shall not be held liable for any damage that may be incurred as a result of the use of such information by any third party (other than the customer and the receiver).

  • 1A customer must enter into an International Money Transfer Service Agreement with the Bank and complete the registration for the commencement of the use of the direct banking service in advance by registering necessary matters concerning the sender (the customer) and the receivers.
  • 2A request for money transfer shall be accepted only if made by way of using the international money transfer app.
  • 3The amount to be transferred and transfer fee for the requested transfer must be paid in advance by way of net settlement at the time of the Bank's acceptance of the money transfer request, etc.; payment in cash is not allowed.
  • *No request for money transfer is accepted at any service counter of the Bank's head office or branch offices.
  • *Each customer can register up to twelve receivers within the International Money Transfer Service as a whole.
  • *The reference number and other transaction details are the information necessary for the receiver to receive the amount transferred. The customer is therefore required to manage such information carefully. Please do not disclose any of the transaction details to any person other than the receiver. The Bank shall not be held liable for any damage that may be incurred as a result of the use of such information by any third party (other than the customer and the receiver).
  • *The service of transferring money by using the international money transfer app shall be available for any money transfer for which BDO Unibank, Inc. serves as the Bank's alliance partner.

  • ◇ The service of transferring money by using the international money transfer app shall be available for any money transfer for which BDO Unibank, Inc. serves as the Bank's alliance partner.
  • ◇ A customer must enter into an International Money Transfer Service Agreement with the Bank and complete the registration for the commencement of the use of the direct banking service in advance by registering necessary matters concerning the sender (the customer) and the receivers. A request for money transfer shall be accepted only if made by way of using the international money transfer app.
  • ◇ Money transfers requested by customers are accepted and processed subject to and to the extent permitted under the restrictions on transactions pertaining to the purpose of money transfer, limits on the amounts transferred, limits on the number of transactions, payout countries, payout currencies, limits on the number of registered receivers, or any other restrictions to be established by the Bank, the Bank's alliance partner, its Payment Centers, or the Receiver's Bank from time to time. Money transfers requested by customers are accepted and processed within the scope permitted under the restrictions on transactions to be established by the Bank's alliance partner, its Payment Centers or the Receiver's Bank or the laws and regulations of the Payout Country from time to time, in addition to the restrictions of above. The foregoing restrictions may be established or changed without prior notice to customers.
