In principle, money sent through the Seven Bank international money transfer service will be received at a location affiliated with Western Union in cash in a foreign currency specified by the customer.*1 In principle, the receiver does not need to have a bank account.*2 To receive money, the receiver needs to present the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) that will be communicated from the sender*3 and to perform the prescribed procedure at a receiving location.
Receive an MTCN and other information from the sender

Receive the funds transferred in cash in a currency specified by the customer*5*6
- In certain countries, the foreign exchange rate and the amount to be received shown on the transaction screen may differ from the actual rate or amount for the following reasons:
- Yen will be translated into the foreign currency specified by the customer at an exchange rate at the time when the receiver receives money, or
- The transferred money will be subject to taxation when it is withdrawn.
- ◇ Chief example (July 19, 2011): In the Philippines, Peru, Colombia and Bahamas an after-tax amount will be paid.
