  • * Submission of entry is not required for this promo
  • * To sign up for the Seven Bank International Money Transfer Service, opening of Seven Bank account is required
  • * To sign up for the International Money Transfer Service, you will need to submit documents related to your Individual Number (My Number) in addition to your identity verification documents.
Gifting method

We will transfer the 1,000 yen to your Seven Bank account.
We plan to make the transfer by the end of the month following the use of the international money transfer service.

Notes
  • * If the contract for the international money transfer service and the transaction for the international money transfer service are not completed during the promo period, the gift will not be eligible. It takes a few weeks to establish an account for Seven Bank and International Money Transfer Service agreement so we kindly ask to apply as early as possible.
  • * Customers shall not be eligible for this gift if domestic transfer (or furikomi) can not be processed due to reasons such as cancellation of your Seven bank account at the time of payment.
  • * Transfers cannot be made to any account other than the Seven Bank account under the name of the applicant.

Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to be an Eligible Customer and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Applicants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. The promoter is Seven Bank, Ltd. (the “Promoter”).
  3. Entry to this promotion is open to residents in Japan aged eighteen (18) years or above who satisfy the entry requirements outlined in clause 5 below (“Eligible Customers”). Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Seven Global Remit, Ltd., Western Union Japan K.K, and service providers, marketing agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
  4. This Promotion starts on September 1, 2023 (Friday) at 00:00 (Japan Time) and ends on December 31, 2023 (Sunday) at 23:59 (Japan Time) (“Promotion Period”).
  5. All Eligible Customers, who make a new contract for the Seven Bank International Money Transfer Service and send money using the International Money Transfer Service (Western Union) during the Promotion Period will be automatically eligible (Below, “Qualifying Transaction”). Please be advised that transactions sent using SEVEN BANK Philippine Money Transfer Service with BDO Unibank will be excluded.
  6. Each Qualifying Transaction must be made separately and in accordance with these terms and conditions. Eligible Customer can only win once in the Promotion Period.
  7. The Prize amount will be deposited into the eligible customers’ savings account of Seven Bank by the end of the month following the international money transfer transaction. It cannot be deposited to into the eligible customers’ savings account of other bank or another person’s bank account. Money transfer will be made under the name of Seven Bank.
  8. The Eligible Customers’ bank accounts must be valid and active (not closed or terminated) to be eligible for participation during and after the Promotion Period to qualify. If during the Promotion Period and Fulfilment Period, the Eligible Customers close their bank accounts for any reason, his/her participation in the Promotion becomes null and void with immediate effect.
  9. After confirming the Eligible customer’s bank account information, the Prize will be deposited into the bank account by the end of the month following the international money transfer transaction. Winners may be notified by phone, mail, SMS, or e-mail from the Promoter.
  10. In the event that the prize amount can not be deposited into the bank account for any reason, the Eligible Customer(s) will be deemed forfeited any prize without compensation.
  11. The Eligible customer(s) shall be responsible for any tax implications arising for winning the prize.
  12. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties or failures, unauthorized intervention or fraud, vandalism, power failure, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, or any other causes beyond the control of Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Eligible Customer; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate to give effect so far as reasonably possible to the original intent of this Promotion.
  13. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agents associated with this Promotion shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained by anyone (including, but not limited to, direct or indirect loss, consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or any prize provided as part of this Promotion.
  14. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the Promotion and may disclose such PI to regulatory authorities. Winning is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at

    A request to access, update or correct any PI should be directed to the Promoter.
  15. To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and other marketing materials or collateral produced in relation to this Promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
  16. If there is any contradiction between Japanese version and English version, then the Japanese version shall take precedence.
  17. This is a gift with purchase promotion for Western Union customers. It is not intended to, and should not influence, any decisions or actions for the benefit of Western Union. The promotion is compliant with all applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations.
