Important Notice
Request for Submission of Photocopy of Residence Card
We request our customers with foreign nationalities to submit photocopies of their residence card or special permanent resident certificate (hereinafter referred to as “residence card”).
If you do not agree to make a submission or your period of stay expires before you make a submission, we may restrict your transactions or terminate your account.
- ＊We take this measure based on Article 22, Paragraph 6 of the Seven Bank Banking Terms and Conditions.
Please make a submission as soon as possible as it may take about four business days for us to confirm your submission.
How to submit
If you have a renewed residence card

In the case of a residence card renewed on or before June 13, 2026
Register the extension of your period of stay via a Seven Bank ATM.

In the case of a residence card renewed on or after June 14, 2026
Register the extension of your period of stay via the Residence Card submission site on our website.

If you are in the process of applying for renewal of your residence card
Register the extension of your period of stay via the Residence Card submission site after the procedure for the renewal of your residence card is completed.
If you may not be able to submit a photocopy of your renewed residence card before your period of stay expires, inform us via the Residence Card submission site that you are in the process of applying for renewal.

If you will move outside Japan without renewing your residence card
You need toclose your account
before leaving Japan.

As part of our measures against money laundering and terrorist financing, we request our customers with foreign nationalities to submit photocopies of their residence cards.
