Notice of Introduction of Unused Account Management Fee

For the purpose of preventing fraudulent use and other criminal conduct involving accounts that have not been in use for a long period of time (hereinafter referred to as "unused accounts"), we will introduce an unused account management fee and commence termination of unused accounts for which the balance is zero.

Accounts to be treated as unused accounts will be limited to those which will have not been in use for two years or more from April 1, 2022.

Accounts regularly used by customers for deposits, withdrawals and other transactions will not be treated as unused accounts.

Accounts for which the deposit balance is 10,000 yen or more (including time deposits) will also be excluded from this treatment.

The first withdrawal of the unused account management fee will be made on or after June 1, 2025.

We will continue our efforts to guarantee you safe and secure transactions via Seven Bank accounts. We appreciate your understanding.

Details

Fee	Unused account management fee: 1,320 yen per annum (including consumption tax, etc.)
Subject accounts	Accounts which will have not been in use for two years or more from the last transaction (deposit/withdrawal), except in the following cases: -the balance is 10,000 yen or more (including time deposits); or -the account is covered by a loan service agreement. *The period before the date of commencement of this system (April 1, 2022) will not be included in the period of non-use. Interest payments and withdrawals of the unused account management fee will not be regarded as use of the account.
Notification of withdrawal of the unused account management fee	When your account becomes subject to the withdrawal of the unused account management fee, we will notify you by sending an email to your email address registered with us in advance. After the prior notification, if you use your account by the scheduled date of withdrawal, the fee will not be withdrawn.
Time of commencement of withdrawal of the unused account management fee	The first withdrawal of the unused account management fee will be made on or after June 1, 2025. *The period of non-use will be counted from April 1, 2022.
Termination of unused accounts	If the balance of an unused account is less than the amount of the unused account management fee, the entire amount of balance will be appropriated for the unused account management fee. We will terminate an unused account if the balance of the account is zero. *We will not return the unused account management fee. The account once terminated will no longer be available for use.
