Beginning June 14, 2026, the government will begin to issue new card types such as “Specified Residence Cards,” “Specified Special Permanent Resident Certificates,” “Second-Generation Residence Cards,” and “Second-Generation Special Permanent Resident Certificates.”

In preparation, Seven Bank is updating its systems to accommodate the new format. However, until our systems are fully ready, we will temporarily suspend acceptance of procedures using the new Residence Card format.

If your Residence Cards or Special Permanent Resident Certificates are issued on or before June 13, 2026, you may continue to process your application through the channels listed above.

We will provide further updates on our future handling policy through our website and other channels once the details have been finalized.
